We understand information is life. Elbit Systems of America creates a single operating picture for U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents.
We handle the data, so agents can
virtually be anywhere along the U.S. borders.
OUR PRESENCE
Established and operating 24/7 at a quarter of the cost originally budgeted; our system functions with an exceptionally high level of operational availability (exceeding 98%). With our open architecture and our best of breed sensors and communications infrastructure, we’ve demonstrated the ability to integrate a diverse set of sensors and systems, providing a common operating picture.
Elbit Systems of America’s Integrated Fixed Towers deployed outside of Nogales, Arizona, have successfully met milestones for system acceptance testing and agent operational evaluation pursuant to its contract with the Department of Homeland Security’s Customs and Border Protection agency. USBP Chief recognizes the systems contribution to situational awareness and agent safety.
Elbit Systems of America was named the winner of the Most Notable Border Security Program Award by Government Security News for the Integrated Fixed Tower deployment to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The Border Security award is one of the awards GSN presents annually to recognize “top leaders in new technologies and innovative security strategies” for Airport, Seaport, and Border Security.
Elbit Systems of America deploys an Integrated Fixed Tower border system in the Douglas, Arizona AoR with Border Patrol Agent driven enhancements. Elbit Systems of America also successfully meets strict cybersecurity standards by DHS.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection accepted the latest Integrated Fixed Tower border security system deployed by Elbit Systems of America. This IFT system, located in the Sonoita, Arizona Area of Responsibility, is the company’s third successful deployment.
From the darkest of nights to the thickest of brush, our border solutions help predict, detect, track, identify and classify items of interest.
Integrating sensor technologies through an intuitive Common Operating Picture (COP) allows agents greater situational awareness in challenging geographical areas, providing them a more accurate understanding of any given situation and the ability to act with speed and accuracy. Giving them more confidence and eyes on the edge while keeping them safer.
Our system can be operated independently or fully integrated with a coexisting Integrated Fixed Tower (IFT) system. When deployed alongside an IFT system, Custom and Border Protection (CBP) personnel deploy the Relocatable Tower (RT) to a remote location overlooking an area-of-interest (AoI) as part of a mission plan. CBP personnel start the power system, deploy the outriggers, elevate the sensors from the stowed position, and erect the tower to the designated height within an hour and a half.
Our Mobile Surveillance Systems leverage proven capabilities, including command and control system features, into a mobile package. Whether it’s mounted on a truck, trailer, or relocatable tower, our mobile systems provide extended coverage and flexibility for Border Patrol agents. These systems are ideal for monitoring hard-to-reach locations or areas with special environmental sensitivity.
Supporting a multi-layered border security strategy and associated CONOPs, our TORCH® command and control system/common operating picture correlates and displays all items of interest detected by one or more sensors deployed along the border. Automation techniques that utilize artificial intelligence facilitate identification and classification.
The results are then presented to the operator and the agents in the field. The goal is to only present the information which requires attention so they can accurately and efficiently respond and resolve border incursions.
Our Integrated Fixed Towers system is tested, certified and operational along portions of the U.S. southern border and provide long-range, 360-degree surveillance persistent capability.
The towers are mounted with a variety of cameras and sensors. Information from the towers is networked to command and control centers operated by Border Patrol agents. From there, agents use the data to detect, track, identify and classify border activity.
Quick deployment and advanced observation. Our man-portable technologies include multi-rotor small UAS with vertical take-off and landing capabilities and highly sensitive thermal day/night cameras with stabilized tracking that can be deployed tough terrain.
Elbit Systems of America's Re-Drone Counter Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) is a modular, multi-sensor, open-architecture system designed to support most operator requirements. The passive signal intelligence is capable of detecting all types of UAS communications and separating them from the systems operator.
Our TraxTerra unattended ground sensors are comprised of miniaturized, spatially distributed and bi-directional remotely monitored sensors. Deployed at the ground level, these standalone, self-powered, intelligent nodes cooperatively detect and track the movements of people, vehicles, and other events.
EXPLORE OUR
National security demands innovation. We utilize Disciplined Innovation to provide continuous improvement with leading advancement of technology, so you can continue your mission with the best situational awareness.
Our Wall System provides a responsive solution for threat detection and integrates with other sensor technology to provide situational awareness.
Our Fixed Integrated Surveillance Tower systems offer quick deployment and decommissioning with minimum impact to the environment.
We provide all domain autonomous threat detection - air (UAS), ground, and underground. Our Linear Ground Detection System can detect cross border tunnel threats.
U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents need the ability to go anywhere. Our mobile and relocatable surveillance tower systems provide maximum coverage and operational flexibility in any domain.
Our modular, multi-sensor, open-architecture systems provide autonomous threat detection. Each system is equipped with video signals and alerts when an unidentified UAS penetrates protected zones.
Get eyes on the edge in less than 3 minutes at the press of a button. The Modular Mobile Surveillance System is able to lift a 650 pound payload, powered by the tower skid system, to a height of 33 feet, while self-leveling the payload with a 10 degree incline in any direction.
Our Unattended Ground Sensors provide autonomous threat detection at ground level. The standalone, self-powered, intelligent nodes cooperatively detect and track the movements of people, vehicles, and other items of interest.
Reliable information is often a matter of life or death. Our C2 solutions create a single operating picture for U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents. We handle the data, so agents can virtually be anywhere along the U.S. border.
We provide all domain situational awareness using advanced Autonomous Threat Detection in the air, on the ground, underground, and Border Wall Enforcement Zone. Our multi-mission Mobile Surveillance Systems and Relocatable Integrated Surveillance Towers provide decision-quality information, no matter the terrain.
